This year, in the occasion of the World AIDS Day, AVSI is launching a campaign supporting the prevention of mother-to-child-transmission programmes.

The campaign, titled FREE: 10 Years of PMTCT in Uganda, 10 years of children born FREE will be launched Thursday, December 1, at the Sala della Protomoteca, in the Campidoglio, Rome, starting at 10:30.

Here, a publication exposing and analyzing the data collected in ten years of implementation of PMTCT in Uganda, will be presented, together with a short film shot in Uganda, and a photo exhibition showing the stories of mothers, their children and the benefits that the program brought to their lives.
